I receive numerous calls throughout the day but they hang up as soon as the answering machine picks up. I called back and no identity but says to be removed to leave your phone number and allow 48 hrs to be removed...We'll see.

I got a phone call from this number on Tuesday, Jan.13,2009 at 10:35pm, and I also got the same phone call on Wednesday, Jan.14,2009 at 11:34am. They left an automated voice message saying... Credit Union..registered to mini fraud, we suspended your ATM card..PLease press 1 to be transferred to our security dept to reactivate your acct. First off we do not do any business with a Credit Union. I looked up the phone number on google, and found that the number is located in Newport Beach, Calif. We do not know anyone in Calif, much less do business with anyone there. Somebody please tell me how to get these phone calls to stop.

This is definitely a scam. If you call the number back you are told that it is unassigned.
